The International Rescue Corps was formed in 1981, following the Italian earthquake. Having seen the scenes of chaos and devastation portrayed in the media, the founders of IRC were determined that a co-ordinated search and rescue team should be available to attend all future catastrophes, wherever they took place. It is that determination which has carried this organisation to where it is today. A professional highly trained group of volunteers "United to Save Life" with a worldwide reputation operating here in the UK and overseas. It is only through sustained support of members, friends and sponsors that we are able to continue in our quest to save lives. I would like to ask you for your support in the work of this unique organisation whether that involves becoming a member, making a donation, or sponsorship.
